Leslie Lavor “Sparky” Tracy, 54, of Clanton died Saturday, Jan. 24, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born Sunday, Aug. 29, 1954 in Knox County, Tenn., son of E.L. Tracy and Josephine Collins Tracy. He was a carpenter.
Surviving are sons, Carl Eugene Connell of Maplesville, Sparky Chad Marcus of Clanton; daughter, Ms. Leslie Dawn Knox of Clanton; father, Mr. E.L. “Doc” Tracy of Clanton; mother, Mrs. Josephine Tracy of Clanton; brother, Mr. Gene Tracy of Clanton; sisters, Ms. Helen Chapman of Clanton, Ms. Mickey Cleckler of Clanton; grandchildren, Brett and Bailee Connell, Paige Knox, Jake Tracy, a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; uncle and aunt, U.L. and Faye Tracy of Clanton.
Services will be held today, Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Plunkett officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
