Shirley “Felicia” Waterman, 49, passed away on Monday, Jan. 19, in her home with her family and friends by her side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a resident of Clanton.
Her mother, Shirley J. Farris and father, Charles P. Farris preceded Felicia in death.
Felicia is survived by her spouse, Stuart Waterman Sr.; sisters, Marquita Moore (Terry) and Sherri Fell (Donny); brother, Chuck Farris; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends. Also a best friend, Martha Finn, survives her.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Mollie deShazzo for her care during her illness.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 1 p.m. in Martin’s Cemetery in Clanton. Charter Funeral Home in Calera, Alabama handled local arrangements.
