Details for the Heart of the Delta Chapter of the Central Alabama Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation’s annual banquet were set at a Tuesday night meeting.

The banquet, which included more than 130 people last year, will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 26 at the National Guard Armory in Clanton. As it has in the past, the event will include a steak dinner, auctions of limited edition outdoor-themed art, and giveaways of guns and other prizes.

Tickets are $45 for a single adult and $60 for a couple, and sponsors and company tickets/tables are available. Money spent on tickets or sponsorships may be tax deductible because proceeds are used to benefit conservation efforts.

Tickets are available at the county courthouse, Speaks and Speaks Law Office, Alabama Power Company, Garrison Farm & Home Center, Hayes Drug, Friends Diner and Verbena Farm Supply.

Tickets will cost $5 more at the door. The auction will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7 p.m.

Donations of guns, knives or wildlife art are also tax deductible.
