Delton Lamar Rhodes, 53, of Jemison died Saturday, Jan. 17.
He was born on Monday, Jan. 16, 1956 in Chilton County, son of the late George Rhodes and Katie Carter Rhodes. He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Joann Rhodes of Jemison; son, Brian Rhodes of Jemison; daughter, Tanya D. Adams of Jemison; stepson, Kevin Ray of Jemison; six grandchildren; mother, Kate Rhodes of Maplesville; two sisters, Shirley Vines of Clanton, Faye Smith of Clanton.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Rhodes and brother, Hubert Rhodes.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William Short and the Rev. Clint Harris officiated.
Interment will follow in Jones Family Cemetery, Jemison.
