CCA girls win last two conference games

Summer Hall’s 19 points on Friday led Chilton Christian Academy’s girls team (4-8, 3-2 conference) to a 37-24 win over Glen Iris Baptist of Birmingham.
Teammate Greda Brock added 12 points.
The boys team (6-8, 2-3) fell to the Swordsmen, 55-35, but both teams were victorious on the school’s homecoming, which featured a visit from Trinity (Oxford) on Jan. 9.
Every Lady Patriot scored in a 44-8 win. Brock (10 points), Hall (9) and Harley Gregg (8) led the way.
The boys won, 60-36, behind Will Clark’s 24 points and Zac Pierce’s 14.
The junior varsity boys lost both of their contests, 42-29 to Glen Iris and 31-21 to Trinity.
CCA take the court again when Glen Iris visits on Jan. 22.
