Herman Leroy Ellison, 68, of Jemison passed away Sunday, Jan. 11. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. from Thompson Chapel Assembly of God Church in Jemison.
The Rev. Mark Bolton, the Rev. Luther Ellison and the Rev. Bunion Porter officiated.
Interment was held at Rocky Mountain Cemetery, Ellison Funeral Home directed.
Ellison is survived by his wife, Jean Ellison of Jemison; three daughters, Wanda (Paul) grant of Jemison, Sandy (Michael) Hudman of Jemison, Cathy (Jimmy) Friday of Clanton; one brother, Alton (Podie) Ellison of Billingsley; three granddaughters, Jamie Grant, Whitney Hudman, Stephanie Hudman all of Jemison and one grandson, Cory Friday of Clanton.
