Doris Pearson, 79, a Marbury resident, passed away Monday, Jan. 12,.
She is survived by one sister, Faye Pearson of Marbury; seven nieces and nephews, Suzanne MacPherson, Virginia Pearson, Michael Pearson, Barry Pearson, Evette Pearson, Michelle Kirkman and Andrea Pearson; 11 great nieces and nephews; nine great great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chuck MacPherson, Michael Pearson, Marlin Harris, Donovan Harris, Wayne DeLoach and Dale Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marbury Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 184, Marbury, AL 36051.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel with the Rev. Jay Hurd officiating. Burial will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
