Frankie and Geraldine Arthur will soon celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on Jan. 23, 1959, in Clanton and have resided in Clanton since that time.

Frankie is a retired butcher, and Geraldine is presently employed by KMA in Clanton. They are both long-time members of Clanton Church of God.

The family will host a reception in their honor on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 2-4 p.m. at Clanton Church of God.
