Coleman leads Houston to 75-56 win over UAB
HOUSTON — Aubrey Coleman scored 25 points to lead Houston to a 75-56 win over Alabama-Birmingham on Saturday night.
Coleman was 11-of-20 from the field for the Cougars (10-3), who controlled the boards 41-27 and shot 49 percent from the floor.
Kelvin Lewis added 19 points for Houston, and Marcus Cousin had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Lawrence Kinnard led UAB (9-6, 0-1) with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Robert Vaden also had 10 points. The Blazers were plagued by poor shooting, hitting just 40 percent from the field.
