Campaign signs need to go

Dear Editor,

It has been over two months since our latest election and there are still political signs posted in any direction that I drive.

Either the disgruntled “wannabe” county and state politicians are gearing up early for another run at a political seat in four years or they just do not care about the garbage now littering our county. I would assume that all these signs would be subject to the same littering fines and public service hours that anyone incurs by tossing out garbage with their names and addresses on the items. It is time to purge our roadways, fence posts, power poles and traffic signs of this garbage and have our county compensated for the manhours and fuel used to pick up these signs.
