Jake Little, a senior at Maplesville High School, has been awarded the Dr. Lawrence Lemak Scholarship by the Alabama Football Coaches Association.

He will receive the scholarship award during the ALFCA banquet held at the Montgomery Embassy Suites on Jan. 31. The scholarship was awarded, in part, by recommendation letters submitted by his coach, Brent Hubbert, and his principal, Maggie Hicks.

Jake has also received the honors of Mr. MHS, Good Citizenship Award, All-Advertiser First Team Linebacker, Southern Linc Scholar/Athlete Award, Clanton Advertiser Player of the Week and second-leading tackler in Chilton County.

Jake plans to continue his education and football career at either Troy University or UAB.

His proud parents are Alden and Jennifer Little of Maplesville.
