Donnie Charles Walker, 55, of Clanton died Sunday, Dec. 28, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
He was born on Thursday, April 30, 1953 in Chilton County, son of Andrew C. Walker and Annie Lee Sanders Walker.
Surviving are his father, Andrew C. Walker of Clanton; mother, Annie Lee Sanders Walker of Clanton; brother, Tim Walker of Clanton; two sisters, Cathy Robinson of Clanton and Angela Burdette of Millbrook; three nephews, Michael Robinson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., Justin (Rhonda) Walker of Clanton and Adam Burdette of Millbrook; niece, Christy (Scott) Gilliland of Valdosta, Ga.; great niece, Chloe Gilliland of Valdosta, Ga.; great-nephew, Noah Gilliland; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., today, Dec. 30, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joey Green, the Rev. Donnie Messer, the Rev. Melton Short and the Rev. Simon Bussie officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton.
