Paula Walters

Paula Ann Walters, 71 of Chiefland, Fla. passed away on Dec. 23 after a long illness.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1937 in Maplesville.
She was a homemaker.
She moved to Chiefland, Fla. in 1977 with her husband from Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Walters enjoyed traveling with her husband on long distance trucks. She was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed all of his music. She was active with Cub Scouts and served as a Den Leader. She was also a Sunday school Teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Teddy J. Walters of Chiefland, Fla.; sons, Brian K. Walters of Alpharetta, Ga., Bradley J. Walters of Gainesville, Fla.; brothers, Ross Hayes of Montgomery, Roy Hayes of Clanton, Paul Hayes of Alabaster; sisters Willadene Kennimore of Birmingham, Verbie Taylor of Birmingham, Marynell Popwell of Birmingham, June Nicholson of Clanton and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
