The following are incident/offense reports released by the Clanton Police Department from Thursday, Dec. 11 through Wednesday, Dec. 17:
Criminal mischief/theft of property – between 11 p.m. Dec. 9 and 3 a.m. Dec. 10 in the 900th block of First Avenue. A Sony portable television valued at $500 was stolen.
Unauthorized use of vehicle – Nov. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the 100th block of Louise Street.
Possession of marijuana second degree/possession of drug paraphernalia at an unknown date and time. Recovered were two sets of scales, a glass pipe, a wooden pipe, 10 packages of rolling papers, two short straws, a clear plastic bag containing a green leafy substance, and a metal plate containing a green leafy substance.
Theft of property – Dec. 11 between 7:15 and 7:25.
Burglary/theft of property – between 2 p.m. Dec. 2 and 9:45 a.m. Dec. 3 in the 800th block of Seventh Street North. U.S. currency and Peachtree Bank checks valued at $440 were stolen.
Theft of property – between noon Dec. 11 and noon Dec. 12 in the 200th block of Airport Lane. A BP Visa issued by Chase Card Services was stolen.
Theft of property – Dec. 14 at 2:58 p.m. at Wal-Mart. One box of Hot Pockets, two pairs of pants, a shirt, approximately 16 ribeye steaks, 1 gallon of Hawaiian Punch and a box of assorted chips – at a combined value of $235 – was stolen.
Theft of property – Dec. 12 between 5:35 and 5:40 p.m. at Wal-Mart.
Theft of property – Dec. 14 between 8 and 10 p.m. at Wal-Mart. A ladies wallet containing daughter’s Social Security Card, daughter’s ID card and $800 in U.S. currency were stolen.
Theft of property – Dec. 16 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:10 p.m. at Associated Foods. Two tubes of cake decorating icing and a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups valued at just more than $8 were recovered.
Reckless endangerment/discharging firearm in city limits – Dec. 16 between 12:20 and 12:30 p.m. in the 2600th block of Lay Dam Road.
Criminal mischief – Dec. 17 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. in the 200th block of Seventh Street South. An Apple iPod valued at $300 was stolen.
Theft of property – Dec. 15 between 1 and 2 p.m. at Wal-Mart.
Harassing communications – Nov. 29 at 11 p.m. in the 100th block of Camille Circle.
