The Alabama Emergency Management Agency collected toys and money to contribute to Operation: Santa Claus. This is the third year the agency has participated in this campaign. AEMA employees gave over $1,000 in toys and cash last Christmas. “The AEMA staff cares about the community and giving to Operation: Santa Claus is just one way that we demonstrate how much our community means to us,” said Director Brock Long. The Operation: Santa Claus program was designed to provide toys to children who would otherwise have little or nothing to open on Christmas morning. Members of the AEMA family that participated in the event are Alabama EMA employees Kevin Pickett, Karla Esco, Kathy Panley, Rhonda Stange, Lisa Smith, Ginger Boilin, Phyllis Hardee, Nell Dennis and Wesley Martin.
