Joe Wayne Chandler, 65, of Clanton died Thursday, Nov. 27 at his residence in Clanton.
He was born on Thursday, June 10, 1943 in Huntsville, son of the late Wiley H. Chandler and the late Virginia Saint Chandler.
He was a Dispatcher/Truck Driver for Wadsworth Oil Company.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Jarvis Chandler of Clanton; daughter, Kim (Kirk) Mims of Jemison; two sons, Randy (Bonita) Jordan of Clanton, Mark Jordan of Alabaster; granddaughters, Kelsey and Karmen Mims of Jemison; grandsons, Nathan and Alex Jordan of Clanton; brother, Wendell T. Chandler of Millbrook; two sisters, Mary Christmas of Deatsville, Sue Ferguson of Hueytown.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at Martin Chapel.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Jemison First Baptist Church with Rev. Willard Scott and Rev. Teddy Chadwick officiating.
Interment will follow in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison.
