The Maplesville Volunteer Fire Department held a Spirit of Christmas House and Yard decorating contest as well as a Small Town Float decorating contest during the Maplesville Christmas Parade Sunday. The winners of the house and yard contest were first place, Donald and Faye Gay; second place, Joel and Hilda Atchison and third place, Tony and Connie Cochran.
