Glenda Carolyn Porter Davenport, 55, of Clanton died Monday, Nov. 10, at UAB, Birmingham.
She was born on Friday, Aug. 7, 1953, in Chilton County, daughter of John Edgar Porter Jr. and Dorothy Jean Farris Porter. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Steve Edward Davenport of Clanton; son, Brian E. Davenport of Clanton; daughter, Mellisa Davenport Bingham of Clanton; father, John Edgar Porter Jr.; mother, Dorothy Jean Farris Porter; two sisters, Karen Reeser and Sharon Spearman; three brothers, Johnny Porter, Greg Porter and Stanley Porter; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Davod Farris and the Rev. Bob Bryant officiating. Interment followed in Robinson Springs, Clanton.
