Betty Lou Battles Vines, 78, of Jemison died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, March 5, 1930 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Flossie Mae Davis.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Annie Jo Battles of Jemison; three grandchildren, Mr. Damon Watley, Mr. Travis Henley and Miss Beth Ann McBride; six great-grandchildren, DeLane Mims, Hannah Henley, Madison Henley, Ariana Faith McBride, Taylor Holcombe and Krystal Rutherford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. W.M. Battles; husband, Mr. William J. Vines; daughter, Mrs. Betty Watley; and granddaughter, Ms. Sheila Watley.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Mims officiating.
Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
