Pickens County High’s defense held Isabella scoreless on Friday night, and the Tornadoes (11-1, 7-0 Class 2A, Region 4) rolled over the Mustangs (8-4, 5-2), 26-0.

Pickens built a 20-0 lead at halftime, and Isabella’s season came to end as the visitors could never fight their way back into the game despite 180 yards of total offense.

Pickens Co. scored all its points by halftime.

Quarterback Brandon Veazey completed four passes—to four different receivers—in eight attempts for 60 yards.

Willie Stacy was the leading rusher, churning out 42 yards on eight carries. Brian Donovan added 35 yards on eight carries.

PCHS also defeated region foe Isabella in Week 6, 33-7.
