Jean Wesson Wilkins, 74, of Jemison died Sunday, Nov. 9, at her residence.
She was born on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1934 in Jefferson County, daughter of the late Lowell Wesson and the late Mary Elizabeth Long Wesson.
She was a cook.
Surviving are her two sons, Ricky (Sherry) Jones of Sylacauga, Russell (Debra) Jones of Jemison; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brother, James Wesson of Jemison; sister, Joyce Lowery of Jemison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilkins and son Rob Jones.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 10, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Don Wedgeworth, Minister Ollie Clyde Jones and Minister Jim Shannon officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley.
