Chilton Christian Academy’s varsity boys basketball team opened its season by taking third place in a tournament at Brooklane Baptist Academy in Hueytown the weekend of Oct. 31.

The Patriots lost to Glen Iris Baptist School, 48-36, and defeated Beth Haven Christian Academy, 57-32.

Will Clark scored 33 points in the two games, and Zac Pierce had 24 points.

The Lady Patriots also took third place. The girls team lost to Brooklane Baptist Academy, 56-42, and topped Cahawba Christian School, 43-39.

Greda Brock scored 46 points and pulled down 27 rebounds in the games. Courtney Wilson had five points and six rebounds in the first game, and Summer Hall scored 14 in the second game.

The junior varsity boys team also came in third. The JV Patriots lost to Glen Iris, 33-23, and defeated Brooklane, 27-15.

Parker White scored 21 points in the games. Parker White contributed five points in the first game, and Blake Dodson was good for eight points in Game 2.
