Mary Frances Burt, 76, of Maplesville died Friday, Oct. 31, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.
She was born on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1932 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Marvin Rosevelt Atchison and the late Lucille Stough Atchison. She was a Secretary.
Surviving are her two sons, Wade L. Burt of Maplesville and Robert Burt of Maplesville; three daughters, Mary Ann Smith of Jemison, Nile Burt of Maplesville and Theresa Mendez of McCalla; seven brothers, Donald O. Atchison of Maplesville, Howell Atchison of Maplesville, M.R. Atchison of Birmingham, Doyle Lee Atchison of Alabaster, Joel Atchison of Maplesville, Paul Atchison of Montgomery and Eddie Atchison of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters, Shelby Jean Mansion of Pell City, Alice Burnett of Maplesville, Diane Atchison of Selma; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Haywood Burt; Daughter, Marie Burt Reynolds; Brother, Ronald Atchison.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 2, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services were held Monday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duke Fulgum officiating.
Interment followed in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville.
