Annie Lucile Veazey, 93, of Maplesville died Sunday, Nov. 2, at Hatley Health Care, Clanton.
She was born on Friday, April 30, 1915 in Georgia, Daughter of the late Robert E. Gaydon and the late Olivia Belle McCrary Gaydon.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her daughter, Reita Joyce Minor; son-in-law, James A. Minor; daughter-in-law, Charlene A Veazey; six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Renfro Veazey; son, Billy W. Veazey; father, Robert E. Gaydon and mother, Olivia Belle Gaydon.
Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m, Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. Mitch Thrower and the Rev. David Bishop officiating.
Interment will follow in Isabella Methodist Cemetery, Maplesville.
The family request no flowers, Donations to Mulberry Baptist Church or Isabella Methodist Cemetery Fund.
Also the family would like to express appreciation to the staff of Hatley Health Care for the care that was provided for Mrs. Veazey.
