Vera M Davis, 65, of Jemison died Friday, Oct. 31, at her residence.
She was born on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1942 in Chilton Co., AL, Daughter of the late Willie B. Adams and the late Evie Mims Adams. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmy W. Davis of Jemison; 3 daughters, Brenda Diane Crisp of Knoxville, TN, Rita Faye Price of Clanton, Christy Davis of Jemison; 2 sons, Bobby Wayne Sparks of Jemison, James Earl Sparks of Clanton; A number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Era Mae Baker of Clanton, Vera Gentry of Clanton, Paula Jean Headley of Clanton; 3 brothers, Thearl Adams of Clanton, Joe Earl Adams of Clanton, Monroe Adams of Clanton.
Friends will be received from 5-8, Sunday, Nov. 2, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Monday, Nov. 3, at 2 p.m.. at Glad Tidings Church of God with Rev. Jeff Carroll officiating.
Interment will follow in Glad Tidings Cemetery, Clanton.
