Robert Thomas Griffin Sr., 79, of Clanton died Thursday, Oct. 30 at Hatley Health Care, Clanton.
He was born on Wednesday, May 22, 1929 in Coffee Co., AL, son of the late Willard S. Griffin and the late Maggie Lee McCart Griffin.
He was a Bread Salesman for Colonial Bread Co.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Griffin of Clanton; daughter, Carolyn L. Griffin of Homewood; 4 sons, Robert Thomas Griffin, Jr. of Clanton, George Gary Griffin of Yorktown, VA, David Joel Griffin of Jasper, W. Alan Griffin of Jasper; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Roland Griffin of Kissimmee, FL.
Services will be held today Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Griffin officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton.
