Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lister are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Vera Anjeanette to Vinton David Barton, of Montgomery.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lawley Sr. of Goodwater and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lister of Sylacauga. She is a 2004 graduate of Auburn University and is current employed as a medical sales representative for UAB Health Systems in Birmingham.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of The Culinard Institute in Birmingham. He is founder and owner of Manna Catering in Birmingham and is also a chef at Birmingham eatery.

The wedding will take place Saturday, Nov. 8, at The Beach Club Resort in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

After a honeymoon in Puerto Rico, the couple will return to continue to make their home in Birmingham.
