The youth of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church in Jemison have again been blessed to receive a beautiful quilt to help them with their fundraising for their Christmas mission project.
For the last several years, Allegra Parker Glasscock has generously made and donated a special quilt to the church youth. The youth have taken donations in the amount of $2 each for an opportunity for some lucky person to receive the quilt. This year’s quilt is the Mariner’s Compass pattern. The money taken in by the church youth group goes toward their annual Christmas mission project. On Nov. 30, some lucky person will find out that they get to have this gorgeous quilt as their own.
If you would like to help the church youth, please contact any youth or adult youth leader, or call the church office at 688-2204. Please leave a message and someone will get in contact with you. All help is appreciated as we try to help brighten Christmas in Chilton County.
