Catherine B Tucker, 94, of Clanton died Saturday, Oct. 18, at her home in Clanton.
She was born Sept. 7, 1914, in Chilton County to the late William Walter and Lena Mae Broadhead. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who worked during the late 1950’s and throughout the 1960’s as the local Greyhound bus station manager.
Survivors include her daughters, Helen Foshee of Clanton and Jeanette DeVaughn of Tuscaloosa; son, Eugene Tucker of Mobile; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends were received Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Ridouts Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. Graveside services followed at Chilton Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Chris Nichols officiating.The family would like to thank the staff of Alacare Hospice.
