Devils junior varsity outruns CCHS
Maplesville’s Brett Seales scored on a 2-yard run to open the fourth quarter last night in a play that would prove to be the game winner in a 14-7 junior varsity win at Chilton County High.
Seales’ touchdown and Patrick Alteena’s extra point allowed the Red Devils (6-1) to withstand the ensuing 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Will Cooper.
The Tigers (3-4) had two drives stall inside Maplesville’s 8-yard line.
The Devils’ first touchdown came on a 57-yard strike from Apollos Abercrombie to James Madsen.
