On Nov. 4, registered voters across Chilton County will go to the polls to mark their preferences for national, state and county leaders.
We urge everyone who is eligible to participate in these elections to take action and make sure their voice is heard. In order to do so, there are certain requirements that must be met.
Friday is the last day to become a registered voter in Chilton County, if you have not already done so. Please don’t let this deadline sneak up on you, as it is quickly approaching.
The Chilton County Board of Registrars office closes at 4 p.m. Friday. Anyone who wishes to register should do so as soon as possible, and not wait until the last minute. Also, when you vote, be sure to have on your person acceptable identification, which includes your current name and address and preferably a photo ID.
