Mr. and Mrs. Donald Eugene Hand of Clanton are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Sharon Leigh Hand to Lynn Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thomas Martin of Clanton.

Hand is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Pratt Hand of Prattville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence G. Lolley of Selma.

She is a graduate of Chilton County High School and is currently employed by the Chilton County Board of Education.

Martin is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Adams of Clanton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lubie Martin of Clanton.

He attended Chilton County High School and is currently employed by Cornice Unlimited.

The wedding is set to take place on Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Lakeview Place Wedding Chapel in Thorsby.

A reception is set to follow the occasion.
