AUBURN – Auburn basketball coach Jeff Lebo is tempering his expectations for the upcoming season.
With a number of new players, Lebo said he is taking a wait and see approach. He does say the team has meshed well. Every player also ran the coaches’ required 6-minute mile for the first time.
Forward Korvotney Barber is fully recovered from a broken hand that cost him most of last season. Among the newcomers are high-scoring freshman Frankie Sullivan and junior college transfers Tay Waller and Brendan Knox.
The Tigers open practice on Friday.
They must replace starters Frank Tolbert and Quan Prowell.
