Mable Jewel Henderson, 65, of Jemison died Sunday, Oct. 5, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Birmingham.
She was born Wednesday, April 7, 1943, in Chilton County. daughter of the late Alvin Moates and the late Jewel Bryant. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Henderson of Jemison; three daughters, Marie (Jeff) Dalrymple of Clanton, Sandra (Glenn) Smith of Jemison, Sharon (Ronnie) Haynes of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sons, Dale (Gerri) Henderson of Jemison, Michael (Mary) Henderson of Thorsby; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Howard Henderson; grandchildren, Katie Fondren, Rhonda Haynes and Robin Haynes.
Friends will be received today from 6-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Jemison.
