Irene Ray Lowery, 90, of Jemison died Saturday, Oct. 4, at Chilton Medical Center.
She was born Tuesday, April 2, 1918, in Chilton County, daughter of the late S. Loyed Ray and the late Mary Eliza Bice Ray. She was a cosmetologist.
Survivors include her son, William Edward (Cecilia) Lowery of Jemison; granddaughter, Celestie Lowery (Kent) Mullins of Clanton; great-granddaughter, Clarissa Mullins of Clanton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Stacey Lowery.
Friends were received Sunday, Oct. 5, at Martin Funeral Home. Services were held Monday, Oct. 6, at 3 p.m. at Trinity Bible Church with the Rev. Donald Talley, the Rev. Matt Hilyer and Bro. Billy Maddox officiating.
Burial followed in Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison.
