Vester and Lucille Robinson will soon celebrate their 70th anniversary.

They were married on Oct. 22, 1938 in Thorsby and have resided in Jemison since that time.

Vester, 87, is a retired US Steel worker and Lucille, 86, is a retired Thorsby Garment Factory inspector. They are both longtime members of Pates Chapel Baptist Church.

They are the proud parents of four sons and have been blessed with ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

The family will host a reception in their honor on Sunday, Oct. 19, from 2-4 p.m. at their home of over 50 years. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
