After close wins in games 1 and 2, Billingsley on Thursday breezed in Game 3 behind 10 consecutive service points from Lucretia Love to sweep Holtville, 26-24, 27-25, 25-14.

The Bears (6-4) took a 23-19 lead in Game 1 before the visitors tied it at 24. But a Love kill combined with a Holtville error ended the game.

Service errors almost doomed Billingsley in Game 2, but the hosts fought back from a 23-17 deficit.

The game was ended on a Crystal Motley kill followed by a Rachel Willis ace followed by a Love kill.

Love recorded 10 kills, four aces and three blocks for Billingsley.

Halie Taylor had two assists and five digs, and Motley contributed eight kills and two blocks.
