Willie Merle Rush, 69, of Clanton died Friday, Sept. 26, at Hatley Health Care, Clanton.
She was born on Friday, Aug. 4, 1939, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Sid Willis and the late Arleatha Bolton.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Buddy Rush of Clanton; two daughters, Kim (Greg) Lolley of Prattville, Wendy Rush of Maryland; two grandsons, Neal Lolley of Prattville, Gifton Lolley of Prattville; three granddaughters, Ashley Harriss of Maryland and Jenna Harriss of Maryland, Heather Harriss of Maryland; brother, Zedard Willis.
Pallbearers are Glen Crumpton,Eric Smitherman, Steve Sandlin, Jeremy Dennis, Nickolas Young and Devon Scott. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Joe Dennis, Roy Dennis, Eugene Dennis, Kenneth Dennis and Nathan Young.
Friends were received from 5-7 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services were held Monday, Sept. 29, at 1 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Strattis officiating. Interment will follow in Lomax Church of Christ.
