Sara Elizabeth Jones McDonald, 90, of Thorsby died Friday, Sept. 26, at Homeland Assisted Living, Jemison.
She was born on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1918 in Marengo County, daughter of the late R. Jones and the late Mamie Kimbrell.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her son, Byron (Linda) McDonald of Thorsby; two grandsons, Keith McDonald, Kevin McDonald; two great grandsons, Parker McDonald, Will McDonald; step-daughter, Mrs. Jeanette McDonald (Harold) Crowson; four grandchildren; Crystal, Debbie, Sherry and Hal, numerous great grandchildren and great-great Grandchildren.
Visitation one hour prior to service. Graveside services were held Monday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. at Shelby Memory Gardens, Calera, with the Rev. Robert Singleterry officiating. Martin Funeral Home directed.
