Peggy Bean Nelson, 71, of Thorsby died Sunday, Sept 21.
She was born Monday, Dec. 21, 1936 in Chilton County, daughter of the late Walter Bean and the late Alma Hilyer. She was a trimmer.
Survivors include her son, D. Mitch Nelson of Homewood; daughter-in-law, Donna Nelson of Homewood; grandson, Hunter Nelson of Homewood; granddaughter, Morgan Nelson of Homewood; sister-in-law, Dottie Bean of Montgomery; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received today from 5-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thomas Earl Hilyer officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Collins Chapel Baptist Church.
