Services for Mary E. Johnson, 79, of Clanton will be held today at Lomax Independent Church at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson, who died Monday, Sept. 15 at a local hospital, was born Nov. 25, 1928 in Jefferson County.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Napolen Johnson; and a son, Charles Wayne Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Robert Johnson, Neal (Betty) Johnson, Joe (Kaye) Johnson, Jimmy (Sue) Johnson, Leroy (Donna) Johnson, Jeff (Nancy) Johnson, Mary (Rayford) Clackler, Betty (Aaron) Smith; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; brother, William (Shirley) Alberts; and a host of other family and friends.
