Thorsby’s 2008 Swedish Festival Beauty Pageant will be held Monday Oct. 6, at The Thorsby High School Auditorium. Ages for the Pageant are 0-19. A $1,000 scholarship to the college of her choice will be given to the winner of the Miss catagory (ages 16-19). Registration will be Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at Daisies Florist and Gift Shop on Highway 31 in Thorsby. No late entries will be accepted. Entry forms may be picked up at Daisies, Thorsby Town Hall, Thorsby High, Jemison High, Jemison Middle and Brenda’s Formal Wear. Please call Daisies at 646.3229 with any questions.
