Euna Cordle Maddox, 92, of Clanton died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008.
She was born Saturday, April 8, 1916 in Coffee County, daughter of the late William Cordle and the late Evie Hudson Cordle.
She was a food service manager.
Surviving are daughters, Peggy (Chris) Burnette of Gadsden, Cathy (Terry) Carroll of Clanton; three granddaughters, Hannah Burnette of Montgomery, Celeste (Michael) Wolfe of Calera, Rachel (Kyle) Woodham of Swansea, SC; two grandsons, Joshua Burnette of Rome, Ga., Chad Carroll of Hampton, Va.; two brothers, Edmon (Willie) Cordle of New Brockton, Gene (Shirley) Cordle of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Lois Cleckler of Clanton; two sisters-in-law, Charlie Mae Cordle of Montgomery, Annette Cordle of Troy; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Carlos Maddox.
A special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and Sue Cox, caregiver.
Services will be held today, Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
