The Labor Day holiday yesterday has moved several meetings from their original dates.

The Thorsby Town Council’s regular meeting will be held tonight at 7 in the Town Annex building.

Jemison’s City Council will meet Monday, Sept. 8, according to the city’s official Web site.

All municipal and county offices will reopen today for business after taking the day off Monday.

Garbage collection for Monday in Thorsby, Jemison and Maplesville will be made today, while Clanton’s regular Monday garbage collection was made yesterday.
