Joyce Ann Bolton, 60, of Jemison died Monday, Aug. 25, at her residence.
She was born Sunday, Sept. 7, 1947, in Chilton County, daughter of the late James Porter and the late Mildred Parker Porter. She was a purchasing clerk.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall Bolton of Jemison; daughter, Sherri B. (Melvin) Taylor of Clanton; grandchildren, Jordan Mims, Jackson Mims, Parker Taylor, Morgan Taylor; nieces, Kim Smith, Kerri Tillery, Angie Baggett, Jodie Porter, Judy Benson, Donna Bolton; nephews, Jay Porter, Justin Porter, Mark Bolton, Kenny Bolton, Mike Jones; sister, Faye (John) King of Jemison; brother, Jessie Lee Porter of Jemison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildred Porter; son, Jeff Bolton; brothers, James Frank and Jimmy Wayne Porter.
Friends will be received tonight from 5-8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist #1 with the Rev. Richard Parker, the Rev. Billy Wyatt and the Rev. Randol Mims officiating.
Interment will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Jemison.
