Voters went to the polls Tuesday to vote in the municipal elections in Clanton, Jemison, Maplesville and Thorsby, and it appears that voter have been scared away due to rainfall.

In Clanton, only 1,350 had voted as of 3 p.m.

Polls will close at 7 p.m.
