Willard Warner Hand, 86, of Jemison died Thursday, August 21, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center.
He was born Wednesday, June 21, 1922, in Center Point, son of the late Edward Hand and the late Roxie Burmbloe. He was a millwright.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette G. Hand of Jemison; four sons, Willard Warner Hand, Jr. of Midland, Texas, Ben Lee Hand of Jemison, Paul Hand of Bay Minette, John Hand of Jemison; daughter, Kay Hand of Jemison; ten granddaughters, six great-granddaughters, 11 great-grandsons, three great-great granddaughters, one great-great grandson, a host of nieces and nephews; two sisters, Claudette Mason of Center Point, Annie Mae Hartley of Ragland; brother, Bobby Joe Hand of Center Point.
Friends will be received today from 6-8 p.m.at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, at 2 p.m. at Rocky Mt. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Willard Fredrick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
