Raymond Robert Brasher Sr., 81, of Thorsby died Tuesday, Aug. 19.
He was born Sunday, Oct. 31, 1926 in Jefferson County son of the late John Andrew Brasher and the late Allie Mary Moore.
He was a retired salesman for Red Diamond Coffee after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Nell Brasher of Thorsby; two daughters, Patti Gordon of Hueytown, April Moon of Thorsby; son, Raymond R. “Bob” Brasher, Jr. of Huntsville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church with the Rev. Von McQueen officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home directing.
