Patricia Cato Herron, 69, of Jemison died Saturday, Aug. 9, at Chilton Medical Center.
She was born Tuesday, March 7, 1939 in Jefferson County, daughter of the late Ralph Cato and the late Elease True.
She was a teacher.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Herron of Jemison; son, John Herron of Jemison; sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Bingham of Jemison; brother, Jim (Shirley) Cato of Trussville; eight grandchildren; daughter-in-Law, Judy Herron of Jemison.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Herron and two grandchildren, Heather and Hunter Herron.
Friends were received Monday, Aug. 11, at Martin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Mars Hill Baptist Church, 4301 County Road 42, Jemison AL 35085.
Graveside services will be held today at Midway Memorial Gardens, Jemison, at 11 a.m. with Bro. Terry Harris and Ralph Bingham officiating.
