Amber Nicole Tate, 20, of Jemison died Saturday, Aug. 9 in Birmingham after fighting a long battle with an illness.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 11 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Keith Edwards and the Rev. Terry Avery officiating. Burial followed in the Old Rock Springs Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Debra Tate; father, Phillip Tate; sisters, Jamie (Lee) Collins, Christie Tate; brothers, Steve (Donna) Tate, Shannon (Melba) Tate; grandparents, Carol Collum, Lester Tate; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Leukemia Society at Children’s Hospital.
